Business Development Associate

Job Description

CHECKSET Review is looking for an organized and proactive Business Development Associate to join our team. This role involves fostering and managing relationships with our existing clients while leading initiatives to drive new business growth. The ideal candidate is strategic, results-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills along with high emotional intelligence. This person will play a key role in client satisfaction, team capacity balancing, and nationwide business growth efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention by managing proposals, invoicing, and project updates.

  • Business Growth: Conduct nationwide market research to identify new development projects, analyze key metrics, and tailor outreach strategies to engage decision-makers.

  • Virtual Presentations:  Participate in prospective client presentations with the goal of independently scheduling and presenting to prospective clients within first 6 months.

  • Reporting: Track and report on business development activities, including sales targets and KPIs, to ensure consistent progress toward goals.
  • Capacity Balancing: Collaborate with operations teams to monitor team capacity and balance proposal schedules based on team workloads.

Required Qualifications

  • Must thrive with speaking and connecting with people. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be comfortable with cold calls to prospective clients.
  • Reliably perform administrative tasks including client proposal development and creation and issuance of client invoices.
  • Ability to close deals, and form strategic partnerships, and the ability to confidently say “no” when necessarily.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of market trends and the ability to identify prospective projects and growth opportunities.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving tangible outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university
  • Demonstrated proactive approach and self-motivation in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Must be qualified to work in the US

Critical Competencies

Base Compensation

$80,000 per annum
