511 Harbor is an innovative mixed-use development by SRG Residential, designed by KFA, and constructed by Snyder Langston. Located on a vibrant site, the project replaces an existing restaurant building to introduce a modern 8-story structure with a total gross square footage of 185,723. The development includes 137 residential units, 11% (16 units) of which are dedicated to Very Low Income households, alongside 2,478 square feet of commercial space, envisioned as a future restaurant. Rising 92 feet in height, the building features a 4.06:1 Floor Area Ratio (FAR) and incorporates 118 parking spaces across three above-grade levels. Built with TYPE-IA and TYPE-IIIA construction, 511 Harbor is designed to meet occupancy classifications B, M, R-2, and S-2.
The project emphasizes community and functionality with a variety of public amenities, including a gym, a community room, and rooftop decks offering panoramic views. The development’s commercial component further enhances the local urban experience with the addition of a future 2,500-square-foot restaurant. Construction includes the removal of five non-protected trees and the export of approximately 919 cubic yards of soil, reflecting careful site preparation. By integrating residential, commercial, and communal spaces, 511 Harbor is set to become a dynamic addition to the neighborhood, balancing urban living with thoughtful design.
